Learning together through play and everyday activities.
These outcomes are part of what Emma does every single day!
Emma learns best when she's having fun with family and friends. You can help Emma practice these skills during regular activities like playtime, meals, and bath time. Every moment is a learning opportunity!
1
Emma will participate in mealtime by using a spoon to eat her favorite foods independently.
We will know that Emma can do this when she successfully scoops and brings food to her mouth with a spoon during 3 out of 5 meals. We will achieve this by March 2025.
2
Emma will communicate her basic needs and wants using words or gestures with family members and caregivers.
We will know that Emma can do this when she consistently uses at least 10 functional words or clear gestures to request items, express needs, or interact socially during daily activities. We will achieve this by April 2025.
3
Emma will play appropriately with toys and engage in simple interactive games with peers and family members.
We will know that Emma can do this when she demonstrates sustained play with age-appropriate toys for 10-15 minutes and participates in turn-taking activities like peek-a-boo or rolling a ball back and forth. We will achieve this by May 2025.
4
Emma will move around her environment safely and confidently to explore and access preferred activities.
We will know that Emma can do this when she can walk independently for at least 20 steps, navigate around furniture, and climb up and down stairs with minimal assistance. We will achieve this by June 2025.
